40 Hour TEFL Introductory Course

Mabuhay and welcome! This 40 hour course has been designed to introduce employees to the essential aspects of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. It is aimed at non-teaching staff within an organization and will provide them with the fundamental knowledge necessary to effectively support the broader aims of their organisation, its clients, and its teachers.

The course is comprised of 5 modules broken into a number of different parts. At the end of each module is a multiple choice quiz to test learning, and at the end of the course is a final assessment consisting of a full course quiz and a written essay assignment.

An overall score of 80% is required to pass the course. Students should take it at their own speed and make notes as they progress to help the content stick in their memory and as an aid for reviews before module assessments. The written essay assignment needs to be submitted for marking and all quizzes and assessments contribute to the overall grade.
