60 Hour Teaching Skills Component Course
Mabuhay and welcome! This 60 hour component course has been designed to enhance your teaching prowess by equipping you with the essential tools and techniques for effective language instruction. This immersive program focuses on practical teaching skills, classroom management strategies, and pedagogical approaches necessary to excel as a confident and competent educator.
This course examines teaching methodologies, incorporating communicative language teaching, task-based learning, and interactive teaching techniques. Gain insights into creating engaging and effective lesson plans tailored for diverse learners.
The course is comprised of 7 modules. At the end of each module is a test, and at the end of the course is a final assessment consisting of a full course test and a written essay assignment.
An overall score of 80% is required to pass the course. Students should take it at their own speed and make notes as they progress to help the content stick in their memory and as an aid for reviews before module assessments.
The written essay assignment need to be submitted for marking and all tests and assessments contribute to the overall grade. Graded certification is provided only following successful completion of the course. Certification is verified for employers and other institutions via the verification portal on our website.
